For part II of my collaboration with Missa More, I decided I was going to try and reinvent this otherwise classic & chic check print maxi dress. Usually people would style it with something like red lips, dainty gold jewellery & heels, but I wanted to add a bit of a bohemian touch. Not only does this make the dress go from formal to casual, it also breathes new life into a very classic print & colour palette. Achieving this vibe is very simple, keep your hair as natural and messy as you can, makeup should be soft and minimal, add a single statement piece that screams out BOHO, in this case that would be my lace up flats, and a few antique silver accents. There are many ways to dress down an otherwise formal dress, and many ways to dress up a casual one. I love using the same piece of clothing many different ways, so thats something you’ll definitely be seeing more of on the blog. In my opinion, being versatile with your wardrobe is the true sign of style, so mix and match and mix again for a unique look each time!
